Online Treasure Hunting

Hi genies
One of my favourite things to do when I’m bored is to go online and have a little look around some online shops and get inspired! So here are a few things that I found during my “snoop” that I wouldn’t mind owning 😉

My Favourite Spring/Summer Perfumes

Hi genies

If you’re on the hunt for some nice spring and summer scents, here are some suggestions for you:

The fragrance opens with notes of Sicilian Bergamot, Mandarin oil and Liquer de Cassis which is supported by a heart which bursts with Rose de Mai absolute, Neroli absolute and Egyptian Jasmine absolute. Warm undertones caress the unique chypre base notes of Patchouli oil intertwined with Blond Woods, amber and musky undertones known as Orcanox™. Finished with a sweet animalic accord of Vanille absolute which, gives this fragrance, longevity and an unforgettable sillage.

Tempt an INNOCENT woman with a mischievous and playful fragrance. Delight in a sparking cloud that is as sweet and enticing as juicy wild berries. The delicious cloud is reminiscent of gourmet pastries and confections.

Top Notes: mandarin orange and bergamot
Heart Notes: black currant, almond and red berries
Base Notes: amber, white musk and praline

Prada CANDY is instantly seductive—pure pleasure wrapped in impulsive charm. In an explosion of shocking pink and gold, Prada CANDY takes us on a walk on the wild side, showing us a new facet of Prada femininity where more is more and excess is everything. Magnified by white musks, noble benzoin comes together with a modern caramel accord to give the fragrance a truly unique signature.

Caramel, Musk, Vanilla, Benzoin.
Carefree. Sophisticated. Sensual.

Hi genies
I watched a little bit of the red carpet part of the Golden Globes 2014 and I just wanted to share my two favourite make up looks with you!

71st Annual Golden Globe Awards - Arrivals
Doesn’t Uma Thurman look gorgeous with this make up?! Love it!

This fresh dewy make up suits Margot Robbie so well! I think she looks stunning.

What were your favourite looks?

You’re such a Budapest!

Hi genies
I just wanted to show you my current favourite nail polish!

It is such a pretty lavender colour and it has a very very subtle sparkle to it which makes it a little more festive. Even though it isn’t your average “Holiday-Season” colour I am really liking it 🙂

Nude Nails…

Hi genies
Lately I haven’t been able to paint my nails with vibrant colours as I am working as a waiter at special events and my make up has to be neutral…therefore I have been loving nude nail polish! At the moment my favourite one is called Tickle My France-y by OPI!

I just love how elegant and “polished” nude nails look! What’s your favourite nude nail polish?

My Favourite Summer Nail Polishes of 2013…

Hi genies
I wanted to share my favourite nail polishes of this summer with you (hence the title of this post ;P ). This year, I’ve been more into “subdued” colours rather than bright neon shades that you would normally associate with summer and hot weather…oh well, I thought I would show you nonetheless, so here you go:

Photo Kopie Kopie

I have to confess that most of them I got pretty recently which might also contribute to the fact that they are my current faves 🙂 I’ve been wearing the darkest shade (Lincoln Park at Midnight) on my toes throughout the entire summer, but I’ve been switching between the other colours on my finger nails.

What are your favourite summer nail colours for the summer?

Have a lovely day!

Favourites of the Month…

Hi 🙂
Now that winter has officially gone and spring is coming along, I’m starting to get really excited about the warmer weather and longer days! Just seeing all the beautiful flowers beginning to bloom and hearing the birds sing along simply makes life so much more joyful!
As it has already come to the end of March (which has gone by sooooo fast) I thought I would show you my favourite products of the month 😉
Et voilà!

GOSH Cream Blush in Peachy Rush

GOSH Cream Blush in Peachy Rush

I have been loving this blush this month! As I still have extra dry skin due to the cold and dry weather, this creamy blush is perfect! It blends in perfectly and the peachy colour gives your dull skin an instant fresh boost!

The Body Shop Body Butter in Moroccan Rose

Super hydrating and smells lovely!

Origins Vita Zing Tinted Moisturizer

Origins Vita Zing Tinted Moisturizer

Although I’m normally not such a big fan of this product, it works perfectly well on dry skin and I have been really liking it this winter! AND it’s a real plus that the cream always accustoms to your own current skin colour so that you don’t have to buy new colours according to the seasons.

OPI Miami Beet

OPI Miami Beet

Deep berry shade that’s perfect for the transition from dark to lighter spring colours!

OPI Drip Dry

OPI Drip Dry

This is truly a life saver! Just sprinkle on a few drops and your polish dries sooooo much faster…

Sephora Express Nail Polish Remover

Amazingly easy and fast! Simply stick your finger inside the container and swirl around until the nail polish has been removed…saves cotton pads and is a lot of fun!

Benefit They're Real Mascara

Benefit They’re Real Mascara

At first I didn’t like this mascara that much, but after it has dried a little bit it works wonders for my lashes! If you’re looking for ultra black, long, separated and defined lashes…this is the product for you!

My Favourite Winter Nail Polishes…

I love nail polishes. For any season. While in the sunny summer months I love to go for bright and colourful nails, I prefer darker and more “mysterious” colours in the wintertime…Here are 8 of my favourite ones during the cold seasons:

Honk if you love OPI

Honk if You Love OPI

This first one is a beautiful dark purple with a lot of red in it. There isn’t any shimmer or sparkle though, which makes it perfect for  everyday wear!

Lincoln Park at Midnight

Lincoln Park at Midnight

Although quite similar in colour to the one above, it has more of a sheen and iridescence to it, which makes it a very interesting colour!

Russian Navy

Russian Navy

Gorgeous navy colour with blue and redish shimmer in it!

Miami Beet

Miami Beet

My all time favourite colour! It is a nice rich magenta ; good for any occasion really. Very pretty on toenails too!

French Quarter for Your Thoughts

French Quarter for Your Thoughts

If you want a neutral colour that still “feels” wintery, you have to try this one! It’s a medium tone grey, that goes well with anything you are wearing!

You Don't Know Jacques

You Don’t Know Jacques

This is the perfect taupe colour for you if you don’t like anything too dark but want to give your nails a “winter makeover”!

Purple With a Purpose

Excellent for a night out! You simply can’t go wrong with a shimmery purple enhanced with a pink sheen!

I'm Not Really a Waitress

Elegant shimmery red that just is a must for any formal event during the wintertime!

Here are some pictures so you can see what the nail polishes look like on the nails (chronology as posted above):

I hope I have inspired you to keep your nails looking glam even when your almost freezing your fingers of…hehe <3
